The purpose of a du-rag is not just for putting on your hair before you go to sleep. That’s just a use. The real purpose, if you’re a guy, is to keep your hair laid down. I’m speaking as in if you have waves. You’ll see a lot of men wearing their du-rags quite a bit because they want to keep frizz to a minimal and as I’ve stated before, to keep their curls laid down. Also, it takes a lot of work to keep whichever pattern of waves they have from getting messed up by wearing hats etc. So the answer to your question is no. Duxrags will be around as long as the wave hair style stays around.
